Hovering and the Gerund Countdown

What surprises me is that the provider industry has adopted two "verbs as nouns" - hovering and huddling - that do them no favors in the patient engagement process. They connote the intrusive and exclusive. They're also comical. I think of Glinda and the Marx Brothers in "Horsefeathers."
